Readers weren't impressed with Harry and Meghan's Nigeria tour. Very little was mentioned about the Invictus Games. 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to America after a brief 72-hour tour of Nigeria to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus games. We asked Mirror readers for their thoughts on the Sussex's quick jaunt.

As part of their three-day excursion, the pair visited a secondary school in Abuja to open up about mental health, and Harry even played sitting volleyball with injured servicemen. 

They also spoke at a reception organized by the Nigerian military's chief of Defense staff. Meghan co-hosted a women's leadership event where she spoke fondly of Nigeria as her country after a DNA test revealed she is 43% Nigerian. The trip concluded with a visit to the Lagos Polo Club to watch a charity match in aid of Nigeria Unconquered, an organization supporting injured veterans.

Harry and Meghan hailed their tour as fantastic, promising it to be the first of many memorable trips. Royal expert Dr. Pauline McLaren from Royal Holloway University of London backed this response, claiming the visit had gone exceptionally well.

 She noted there was great delight in Meghan's revelation of her Nigerian heritage, with fans now referring to her as Nigeria's new princess.

Though Harry and Meghan stepped down from firm duties in 2020, it's been suggested that the event resembled an unofficial royal tour. Royal author Tom Quinn told the Mirror that William is furious about the royal stint, and Charles is angrier than ever. 

He added that what upset the apple cart was how the Nigerians treated Harry and Meghan as if it were an official tour. They were greeted with dances, receptions, visits to schools, and charities.

Readers were asked if they were interested in following Harry and Meghan's Nigeria tour, with a whopping 92% saying no. Many expressed dissatisfaction, with comments ranging from disinterest in the couple's antics to disappointment over the lack of focus on Invictus. 

Some felt the trip was staged and false, with too much emphasis on Meghan and her fashion choices rather than the intended purpose of promoting the Invictus Games.
